Does the file name end in .jpg or .jpeg? Like web servers, Fetch uses the file name suffix to determine what sort of file it is.
Thanks,

The files end in .jpg, I have beeen using Fetch since July with no problems, and all of a sudden when I drag files from my website file to fetch, 90% of the time the show up as document files. They are still .jpg in name, but under "kind" they are shown as documents.
Thanks Scott

Does the Kind information change if you refresh the file list? Choose "Refresh File List" from the Directories menu.
Thanks,

No, that doesn't seem to change anything.

I had a new problem today, maybe this will be a clue. I edited a couple typos on two different pages of our website, saved both in dreamweaver. I dragged them over to Fetch. On one page the corrections were made, but not on the other. I tried several times, it would not make the change. I could look at it on the browser within Dreamweaver and see the changes made. But when I go online to check, no changes had been made. I restarted the browser several times to check, to no avail.
Thanks, Scott

On the jpg/document problem, do you have a Suffix Mapping for .jpg? Could you send a screenshot of that mapping and one of the Fetch file list (showing the Kind as "document") to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com?
On the updating problem, have you tried the Refresh (or Reload) button in the browser to make sure you're seeing an up-to-date version of the page? Could you send the URL of the page to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com along with a description of the change that you aren't seeing?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

When I drag a jpg file to Fetch, the file is listed in Fetch with the correct jpg file name, but is listed as a document file type. Why is this doing this?
Thank you
