Hi,
You should get the login information (Hostname, Username and Password) from your client, and then follow along with this tutorial topic:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks.
I am very new to this type of thing so bear with me.
If I understand my client has to have an account with Fetch for me to transfer to them? Because I do not understand the hostname, user name, password part.
I am sorry to compare you to them but I have been using Dropbox to send files and all that I need to do is enter the clients email address and send the file to them to view and use. This is not how your software works? If I am getting it right they will have to have some sort of FTP software installed on their end, which is where I would get their hostname, user name, etc?
Thanks for your time

Hi,
Confusion is understandable -- it's a confusing subject!
To transfer files to a client using Fetch the client would need to have an account with a server hosting company (such as Pair.com or Dreamhost). They'd give you the login information (Hostname, Username and Password) for that account, and that's the information you'd enter into Fetch.
It sounds like your client doesn't have an account set up for FTP or SFTP uploads (otherwise they probably would have given you the login information right away). Is that the case?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Thanks for the quick reply.
They do it is just that I am so new to this. Now I understand completely.
One more thing.
I have say 50 photos that I want to send to client. They start out in my photo processing software. I open up a new folder on my desk top and export the 50 photos to that new folder. I then can click and drag that new folder with pics into the Fetch icon on my desktop fill out the clients appropriate info hits end and they have to photos?
I hope that is right??Arthur

That's almost right. Rather than drag the folder into the Fetch icon you'll want to open Fetch, connect to the client's server, and then drag the folder from the Finder to the Fetch transfer window.

Hello,
I would like to send my photos from LR4 to Fetch then on to my client. Is there a spot on this site that you can send me to or is there someone out there that can show me how to do this?
Thanks
