    Hi,
    I am on OS 10.4.9, Fetch 5.2. I have been trying to use either drag and drop or get to download and every time I get an empty fold with the name of the file I'm trying to download. I've tried taking the firewall down, but even that didn't work. They only way I can download is to view then select all and copy. This works, but I don't get column heading....
    Any ideas? Thanks,todd

    Hi Todd,

    We'd like some more information to help diagnose the problem.

    Could you please do the following?

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Try downloading a single file.
    * Then choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Hi Todd,

    I would try checking "Treat mystery items as files" in the Miscellaneous section of Preferences. Does that fix the problem?

    Thanks,

    The data is all there, that did it. Thanks so much. Any ideas on how to get the column headings? I'm told from other folks who use these files that they are there, but not on what I downloaded.

    thanks,
    todd

    Fetch asks the server for the whole file, so I don't know why you'd be missing part of it. I would ask the people who are seeing the column heading how they are downloading the file (e.g. whether they are using FTP), and whether they are downloading the same file you are.

    Thanks,
