mac to pc password substitution no data connection (2 posts)

    Connected once, now it replaces my typed in password with "anonymous" and can't connect. Using "Recent Connections" will allow connection, but can't see directories or get data connection. Mac to PC/Unix. Passive mode is enabled. What am I missing? New to ftp use.

    Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and send me the contents after you fail to connect? I'll see if there are clues as to what is going wrong.
