I'm a new user. Generally I'll be uploading jpgs and I understand binary files are best for graphics. However, will Windows users be able to open these files?

Or should I use Automatic when uploading jpgs so Windows people wil have no problems?

You don't want to use MacBinary III for exchanging files with Windows users. For JPEG files you should use Raw Data or Automatic (Automatic will actually choose Raw Data in this case).
