I don't do a lot of server stuff so forgive me if this is simple to you.

I need to create an alias inside "folder1" on my remote shared server that points to "folder2", which is in the same directory as "folder1".

Folder1 is the main site and folder2 is the subdomain, so I want an alias that takes the client to the subdomain folder rather than needing 2 ftp accounts.

I'm going to use SSL enryption on the subdomain only which is why it is being kept separate.

Any help will be appreciated as I'm sure it's simple to make an alias.

How you would do this depends on the server operating system and web server being used. I would suggest asking your hosting company for instructions.

    Thanks,
