Flottman asked you a question about mirroring, which he then answered himself, which I was completely unable to follow.

With regards to mirroring, when I hit the start button, it ends up putting the whole folder up, not just the changes. I use iWeb as well, is this the reason why? Is there anything I can do to to just put the changes up?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Unfortunately, iWeb re-creates every file even when you make just one change, so every file will appear to be "newer" than the ones on the server - they all have a newer modification date than the files on the server, so the Mirror command will upload them all again.

This is an iWeb behavior, and there's no way to work around it.

Sorry - I wish we had a better answer for you.

    Thanks,

That's cool, not your guy's fault.

Another question with regards to progress bar and timer. Do you have one with Fetch? If not, why not? Will you be creating one soon. Need one to be able to run errands around the house while loading site...because iWeb sucks with changing the timers on everything. LOL.

    Hi,

Fetch does have a progress bar (well, a progress donut) and time remaining indicator. These appear in the transfer window, not the mirror window - when you start a mirror operation, a transfer window opens.

However, the progress indicators are per-file and do not reflect the time for the overall transfer of all your files. Estimating the time remaining for all files can be tricky - which is probably why many apps don't do it - but it is something we're considering for the future.

    Thanks for the feedback,
