Fetch does not follow aliases when it's mirroring. The reasoning was that it would be easy to accidentally mirror much more than you really wanted to, or end up in an infinite cycle.

i'm trying to mirror a folder on an FTP which is full of alias's which lead to other folders on the FTP, they're all contained in one folder for convenience, yet all it does when i do it is it gets a dir listing and that's it, it does'nt mirror anything. It works in all other folders which don't contain alias's.
is this just something fetch does'nt do?
