No, it' won't notice that both files have been modified. If the Mac file was modified more recently it will be uploaded, overwriting the modified file on the server.
Fetch's mirroring feature is useful when one side or the other is the "master" copy of the files.

Thanks. I realized that after I looked at the actual dialog and saw that I needed to choose which direction files were to be copied.
I'll turn this into a feature request. It would be wonderful if for each pair of mirrored folders, Fetch kept a list of the files present and their mod dates. That way:
a) the current one-way synchronization would happen a lot faster (especially when going to a server) since you wouldn't have to scan the destination's files
b) two-way synchronization would become possible (and detection of the problem raised by my original post).
So...... will this make it into version 4.0.2?

I have a question about the mirror feature. Say I have a folder on my Mac mirrored with a folder on the server. Then, I modify a file on my Mac, and someone else modifies the corresponding file on the server. If I then do a mirror, will Fetch flag the fact that both files have been updated?
