Mirror stops after creating new directory (4 posts)

    I've a problem with using the mirror option:
    When I add some new directories (on my harddisk) to our website and want to update the web server using "mirror" it will stop after the first new folder has been created on the web server. It'll display a message "Server message : Directory created" and I'll have to press the OK Button. Fetch then will display the contents of that new directory which is empty. So I'll have to start "mirror" again...

    I'll have to start over again for every new created directory.

    How can I make Fetch mirroring the directory tree on my harddisk to the web server without canceling after each new created directory ?

    (Interarchy doesn't have any problems with that - but I don't like it very much..)

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after one of these mirroring attempts? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to reveal that window.

    The problem is that the FTP server is handling the "make directory" command incorrectly. The response line should start with 257 (not 250) and should include the path of the new directory.

    I will make changes to Fetch to have it work around the problems with this server.
