Running Fetch 4.0.2 on OS 9.2.2 mirroring local folder to remote server Cerberus on WinXP. I have selected the "delete stray items" option on the mirror operation. Files upload OK, but files deleted from the local folder remain on server after mirror operation completes. I can manually delete these files using the "delete file or folder" function on the "remote" menu. What am I missing?

Appears from the transcript that Cerberus does not support MDTM, is that significant?

No, Fetch should do the right thing even if MDTM is not supported. Could you post a transcript, and the name of a file that should have been deleted but wasn't?

    Thanks,

I discovered that this only happens if there is a sub-folder in the mirrored folder. "File A" has been removed from the local folder, but remains in the remote folder. Also note that the modification date on "File B" in the local folder is "Yesterday, 3:47 PM" (8/13/2002). This file seems to upload even though it is up to date.

    Thanks, Steve.

Is that the complete transcript? There should be some information at the beginning about the Fetch version number, etc.

    Thanks,

Sorry, missed the first line. Again "File A" has been removed from the local folder, but remains on the server.

    Thanks, Steve.

It looks like you've found a bug. I will see about getting this fixed in the next release.

    Thanks for reporting this!

Any idea of when that might be? I am currently running an evaluation copy. Is there an older version available that might not have this problem? Some other workaround? I am sending daily backup files to the server and will quickly blow my storage budget if older copies are not deleted from the server. The scriptability of Fetch makes it the most attractive product I have found, but I may need to look for another FTP solution if there is no workaround. Can you help?
