Is there a way to only mirror specific files with Fetch? Much like we do with a .gitignore file for Git repos

I want to mirror a directory that is also a git repo but don't want all the hidden files and directories to be mirrored to the server that also includes the .sasscache and .DSStore.

In the Obscure section of Preferences you can check the "Upload: Skip hidden items whose names begin with a period" box. Does that do what you need?

    Thanks,

ZOMG! probably one the the craziest places to find that option for a preference ever. Yeah that works awesome! just what the doctor ordered. Thanks so much :) Happy dev makes me

BTW can I also prevent directories as well?
For example, I don't want my sass directory sent to the server along with my README.md junk.

It should skip both files and folders; let me know if it doesn't do that.

    Thanks,

Unfortunately there's no way to exclude directories if their names don't start with a period.

    Thanks,
