You might see that problem if the server does not support the MDTM command, or supports it incorrectly, or if the server's clock and your Mac's don't agree. In those cases Fetch may re-upload anything that has been changed in the last 23 hours or so. I can't think of a good workaround for those problems.
Thanks,

The server doesn't seem to complain about the MDTM command, as it does about some of the other commands. Also, sometimes in the middle of the night, Fetch is able to upload hundreds of files, starting off right where it left off earlier. That is, it seems to be a server problem, but I was hoping there was a setting in Fetch that might increase compatibility.
I should point out that for other sites I manage, Fetch uploads hundreds of files and/or multiple megabytes of AV files without skipping a beat. These other sites are hosting on *nix boxes, however, not on Windows boxes running some third-party FTP software.
Thanks.

I can't think of a settings change that would help. The next release of Fetch will put more diagnostic information in the transcript, to make it easier to troubleshoot mirroring problems like these.

Because of problems with the web space provider I use (www.doteasy.com), I often have to stop and then restart uploads of my 11,000-page website. Other programs such as Transmit do a much better job of recognizing that a file has already been uploaded. Fetch does too, sometimes, but most of the time it tries to re-upload all the previously uploaded (and unchanged) files it has already done.
Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?
Thanks.
