new Fetch software not working (5 posts)

    I had previously been using the samples of Fetch 4.0 for my needs. My time was up last night sometime. I had one picture left to transfer to my website. Naturally, my time was up on the sample, so I just decided to purchase Fetch 4.0 to make life simpler. Now NOTHING transfers!!! I've tried every possible means of doing it, too. I even tried changing to a different picture and description, but nothing transfered like it should have. What's wrong?

    What happens when you try to transfer a file? Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window?

    p.s. Having uploads stop working right after you pay sounds like a mean joke -- but I assure you that it was just a coincidence :).

    I'm trying to transfer a picture of a fireman in a decorated emu egg. Under Status it just says connected and then whether I'm putting or getting the file.
    Under File it says firesanta1.jpg
    Binary data
    18,199 bytes
    Under Transfer it says transfer
    18,199 bytes
    957 bytes/sec
    I watch the numbers since the pie is not there any more (which was explained in an earlier post). But when I go to my site and refresh it, it's still the same - no picture.

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open that window.

    Never mind - I figured it out!! I went back and was rereading some of my former instructions for 3.0.3 and found out that I was supposed to delete the old file first, then click on Put Folders and Files in same Directory which puts the deleted file back on the site again. I did this with the picture AND Product htm since that is how I saved my Product page thru Dreamweaver. Then I highlighted each one, clicked on PUT and highlighted the same file on the other side which transferred everything to my site as new material. Thanks anyway!
