Hi,
When you see the blank square, choose "Activity" from the Window menu in Safari. It will show which file could not be downloaded. Perhaps there is a mismatch between the name of the file you uploaded, and the name in the HTML (which is the name that Safari is looking for)?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

If you look at http://www.thesurfingmuseum.org.uk/the_museum.asp now I have tried to upload again and the square box is there.
I am on Firefox, but if you right click on it and go to properties the location is correct but the key could be it says 'type - text' ? -

Just checked other live images and it seems it is uploading as text, not jpg - so probably something simple I'm doing wrong in the page upload process?
It's almost midnight here so logging off for now... thx -

I'm not seeing the box on that page -- perhaps you removed it?
Thanks,

Hi Jim
I now have my education version of Fetch 5 on my Mac and have tried to upload the page with a new jpeg again - http://www.thesurfingmuseum.org.uk/the_museum.asp
There must be something I am doing wrong when I use the 'put' function - I'm selecting 'automatic' and 'replace existing file' when I try to upload the page. As you can see all the old images are fine, but the new one is uploading as a 'text file'.
Hope you can help - will leave it up for a day so you have chance to check with the time differences.

Hi,
The server is saying that the image
http://www.thesurfingmuseum.org.uk/danimage/unit.jpg
is not found. When you go to the danimage folder with Fetch, do you see a file named "unit.jpg"? If so, could you select the file, choose Copy Fetch Address from the Edit menu, and paste that into your reply?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Success!
Dragged the image across from Dreamweaver to Fetch and that did the trick.
You should see the picture now.
Thanks for your help and patience.

I have been trying to upload a jpg to http://www.thesurfingmuseum.org.uk/the_museum.asp
It uploads the text and all the old images and data including video, but leaves a blank square where the photo should be.
I am using Dreamweaver.
I have gone back and removed the photo and it uploads the updated page OK without the image.
All file names and paths seem to be OK.
Any clues?
