Hi,
You could use Fetch to download the HTML files from your old website, and then open them up in a text editor or webpage editor to view or edit the code, and then upload them to your new site.
Or you can view the content of files in Fetch by connecting to your site, selecting the file, and clicking the View button. You can then copy and paste the code somewhere else.
You can also view the code of webpages in Safari. Simply go to the webpage whose code you want to see, go to Safari's View menu, and choose View Source. Then you can copy and paste it into a new HTML file.
Fetch is not a webpage editor, so it does not understand HTML or provide tools for editing it; however, you can use it for downloading and uploading your website files, or for looking at them.
(Fetch does have an Edit command for making quick changes to files on a server, but I don't think the Fetch Edit command is the right tool for what you're trying to do.)
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi,
If you're looking for a text editor recommendation, two good, free text editors we recommend are:
* TextWrangler from Bare Bones Software
* Smultron by Peter Borg
You might want to check them out and see if they do what you want.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire
