I am a new user of fetch. How do I set up Fetch on my computer to put files on so others can download them and vice versa??

There are two parts to that problem, putting files where others can download them and accepting files that other people send to you. Both are usually accomplished with an account at a web service provider (aka web hosting company).

To put files where others can get them just about any hosting setup will do. If you want to restrict access to certain people you can use the web server's facilities for password-protecting folders, or encrypt the files before uploading. You would use Fetch to upload the files to the web server.

To accept files from others you want a web hosting account that includes anonymous FTP service. Pair.com is one company that offers these. Then others can login without a username or password and upload files to a "drop-box" folder (using Fetch or some other FTP client), and only you can download them (using Fetch).

    I hope this helps,
