This is a sample of what I get back from my personal web page when I access it via Netscape 4.77 browser. And my IE 5 browser says it never even heard of my web page. Fetch 4 can place and retrieve the files (one PhotoShop and one Painter Classic jpeg) with no problem. My page server is "home.san.rr.com", Which is San Diego Road Runner (i.e.:cable). Both browsers have been recently replaced and do all their other chores without a hitch. I've tried every "get mode" and "put format" combination FETCH 4 provides. I find some vague reference to decode-158 document and that my iMac (w/OS9.0) should have an application to decode them, but neither Sherlock no I can find any reference to it. Can someone tell me where I should go next (watchit!) to solve this #$%^& problem? Incidentally, Microsoft FrontPage worked fine with setups made with Netscape Composer except images wouldn't work there either.

The snippet you included is the first part of a Photoshop file. Usually you'll want to upload your images in JPEG, GIF or PNG format. And you want to make sure that the image file names end in the right suffix (e.g. .jpg, .gif, .png). It appears that the web server does not know what kind of file the Photoshop file is, and so it is sending it to you as text.

If changing the format and the file name extension does not fix things please post the URL of your homepage and I'll take a look.
