  .gz and .zip files are automatically being expanded on download and I don't want that to happen. I understand I should be able to set this preference under Get Info > Transfer Options, but there are no Transfer Options on my Get Info window. I looked at the documentation and see the screen shots of where Transfer Options should be but I don't have them. What should I do? 5.0.5

  Hi,

  To get the Transfer Options to show up, you must select either a single .gz file or a single .zip file before choosing Get Info; don't select both at once, and don't select more than one file. You must select each kind of file you want to disable decoding for individually (we realize this is not perfect and are looking to improve it in the future).

  If that is what you're doing, could you take a screenshot of the info window and send it to:

  bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com

  so that we can try to figure out what's going on?
