    Hello everyone,
I don't want fetch to rename my files which sometimes contain some special characters. But if I diable "Translate ISO characters" in the preferences Im am not able to upload the file anymore.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Trude

P.S.: Is there any posibility to be remove my own profile completely?

What happens when you upload with Translate ISO characters turned off?

I'm not sure what you mean by your profile -- do you mean your registration for this message board?

    Thanks,

Nothing happens - that's the problem

While my first registration I made a mistake and created a child-account "trudeheer". But I didn't find any delete button.

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after uploading with Translate ISO characters turned off?

    Thanks,

Apparently the server can not create a file with that name, so your only options are to translate the characters or to rename the file.

But I know that there are Windows-FTP-Clients that have no problems (WS_FTP,... ) Can this really be a server problem?
