Hi James,
Try this to solve the problem:
* Choose Fetch > Preferences
* Click on the Proxy tab (Fetch 5) or Firewall tab (Fetch 4)
* Check to make sure the "Proxy type" pop-up menu is set to "None". If it's not, choose "None" and try connecting again.Let us know if that does not solve the problem.

I can not connect with my mac to my host.
I contacted my email provider and he feels I have
either one or more firewalls. I have comcast cable
connection to the house.
The error message is "There is no host by that name"
