Open Transport Error number -3168 (3 posts)

    I am running Fetch 4.0.1 to update one of our webservers at another location. Fetch is running on a Blue and White G3 with Mac OS 9.2.1 and just updated to Mac OS 9.2.2 with 500B of RAM but when this error occurred I was still on Mac OS 9.2.1.

    Can someone tell me what the following error message from Fetch 4.0.1 means and how do I resolve this?

    Open Transport Error number -3168

    That error means that Fetch made an Open Transport call at the wrong time. Is the problem reproducible?

    Yes, it is reproducible because this is not the first time that we have experienced this type of error with Fetch 4.0/4.0.1 for Mac OS 9.x

    I saw your eariler post regarding this issue and at that time you mentioned that this problem was caused by a bug in Fetch 3.0.3. Apparently, this bug is also in Fetch 4.0/4.0.1.
