Opening 3 pages and requires password (2 posts)

  Hello,

  I am a student and am having issues when I open my index.html page in a browser. When i open it, the browser loads 3 different tabs of the same page and also asks for the server username and password. Is there any reason this would happen? I haven't changed any settings on Fetch since downloading it.

  Hi,

  A problem like that would have to do with the authoring and hosting of your page, rather than with Fetch (which just transfers the files that make up your page from your Mac to the web server). I would take a look at the content of your page. One troubleshooting approach would be to make a copy of it (e.g. index-troubleshooting.html) and then take out parts of the page until you identify the part that is causing the problem.
