I've looked into the problems with saving files to open in SimpleText from Fetch 5, and at this time there is not a work around besides using a different application to edit your HTML files, sorry.
TextWrangler, from BareBones Software, is a good, free Mac OS X-native text editing application that you may want to consider; there are many others as well.
Thanks,

Hi,
When I download pages from Fetch they are automatically saved onto my desktop as safari files. In the 'get info' window I've changed to application to open them with to SimpleText, but when I try to open them with SimpleText, it says that it does not open these kind of files..
Anyone have any idea what I can do??
Thanks
