Fetch used to maintain the original file date of a file when it was FTP’d up to the server…
now it is changing the file date/timestamp to the upload time.

I can’t see where to control this.
I need to maintain the original file’s date & time for versioning control.

    Hi,

Check the setting of the "Do not preserve modification dates" checkbox in the Obscure section of Preferences.

Note: Not all servers support preserving modification dates. If that box is unchecked, and modification dates for uploaded files are still the upload time, my guess would be that the server did not support setting the date back to match the modification date of the file on your Mac.

    Thanks,

Thank you so much... this fixed it... had missed that "obscure" setting...
