When trying to log on to a PowerBook running OS X 10.2 from a machine running OS S 10.3, I get various error messsges depending on how I format the User ID field.
    The two errors:
    1. User Administrator may not use FTP or
    2. Password Incorrect.
In any event, I unable to log in to the FTP host no matter how I enter the User ID field.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Joe

I haven't had any trouble logging into a 10.2 machine from 10.3. I assume you have FTP service turned on in the Sharing panel of System Preferences on the 10.2 machine?

I'd be interested in seeing the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you try logging in and get the two errors you mention. Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open it.

    Thanks,
