I figured it out. I edited the bookmark and entered the password in the appropriate field. Now Fetch remembers it.

I certainly want the keychain feature to work on X, but evidently there's still some work to do. Saving the password in the shortcut is a workaround, as you discovered.

I've been unable to get Fetch to access my keychain feature in OS X. As a result, I have to manually enter the password for my servers every time I try to upload something.
I've set the server in the keychain app to allow Fetch to access the keychain at all times but Fetch still asks for a password. Any ideas?
