In OS X, there is a dropbox in each user's folder. Using the Apple File Sharing techniques, non-users can access the public folder of a registered user without a password. I want to allow non-users to put files in my drop box using guest login with Fetch. When I type in my host name (ftp access is turned on), and put in "Guest" for User ID and no password, I get a login error. Does anyone know how to make this work? Thank you, Galen Simmons

You have to change some configuration items to make anonymous FTP work on OS X, and to set up a "dropbox" folder where anonymous users can upload files. I'd recommend doing a Google search on "anonymous ftp OS X".

    Thanks,
