When downloading files from my web server Fetch will trasfer 100-300k and then 'hang up'. The dog keeps running, the time remaing start to clib, the trasfer speed start to drop and the file cease to trasfer. The only way to stop this is to quit the program, if I try to cancel the d/l there is still no response and I must quit the connection. It warns me that I still have a connection with my server and then quits.

I have to start up Fetch, reconnect, resume d/l and get another 100-300k each time. I must repeat this operation several times in order to d/l larger files.

I can d/l the same file through Internet Explorer and they come across all at once.

If any one can suggest how to get the FTP working it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Duthie

I have tried designating my IP address as the DMZ host and port 21 forwarded to my IP address so Firewall should not be an issue.

Have you tried downloading without the firewall, or without using the wireless link?

By the way, you can cancel a stuck transfer by closing the window rather than quitting the application.
