Hi,
I would recommend using BBEdit instead of TextEdit. You can download it for free from http://barebones.com .
Thanks,

I've been attempting to edit web pages using Text Edit. I can do this, make changes, and "put" the new page up, but it comes out on the website as code. The pages were originally set up using Dream Weaver, but I no longer have access to this software. My grandson suggested using Text Edit, and just adding new data, and that is what I've done.
I can't see how the code on my new page looks any different (except for the changes), but it's not working. I hope this message is clear, I'm a real novice at this, and just a volunteer for my Friends of the Library website. Hope someone can help!
