If we have an NT server instead of an Unix server that we are using, is it possible to set up passwords for individual folders (subwebs) underneath our main site (rootweb)? If so, how? If not, what method can anyone suggest that would help me create passwords for subfolders? It's been done before on our site, but it was done before I came to this company and no one here knows how to do it now. Thanks for any help!

I know that Unix servers typically do this with .htaccess files, but I'm not familiar with how NT servers restrict access. I'd suggest checking Microsoft's web site or a book about their Internet Information Server.
