Periodically check FTP folder for new files? (5 posts)

  Is there an automator task that will check an FTP folder (and subfolders) for new files say twice a day? I need a way to get notification if clients upload files to our FTP server without trying to remember to check or expecting them to let me know they've uploaded a file.

  I've written a few AppleScripts that use Fetch to watch server folders for new files. What sort of notification would you want -- perhaps an email?
