Photoshop CMYK .jpg won't place in PageMaker (3 posts)

The user uploading the files should use Raw Data format. Automatic format should also work.

I have a customer that uses Fetch to upload CMYK .jpg files created on a Mac using Photoshop. He uploads them using Fetch to a Windows based FTP site. The pictures won't place in the PC based version of Pagemaker. If I open the picture in Photoshop, they open without a problem. They are CMYK, baseline scan, medium compression, .jpg files. If I save the file again without making any changes the file will place into Pagemaker just fine.
The problem seems to be related to the FTP transfer using Fetch. It seems that Fetch is putting the files on the Windows server in a Mac format. Is there a setting in Fetch that needs to be set when transfering image files to a PC based FTP site?
