The problem is the UUencode Post-processing entry, which catches not only UUencoded files but any BBEdit (TEXT/R*ch) file -- including your PHP files. Disable that action and you should be all set.

That works perfectly! Thanks very much.

Whenever I download a .php file, Stuffit is always automatically opened. It bounces in the dock for a bit, then goes away, apparently having done nothing.
I have .php files listed in Suffix Mapping as TEXT/R*ch, and PHP files aren't listed in teh Post-Processing window. .php3 files aren't listed in Suffix Mapping but don't cause Stuffit to open.
How can I stop this behaviour when downloading .php files? It might work if I just deleted the extension from Suffix Mapping, but I'd like a "correct" solution :)
