You should not have to forward ports in order to use Fetch. The first thing I would try is checking the Use passive mode transfers (PASV) checkbox in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. If that does not help please choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you see a problem -- I will take a look.

I have recently purchased a new ethernet modem which has a built in firewall. I've been told I need to 'Forward the Ports' but have no idea how with fetch. Can anyone help?? Pleeeaaase!!!???
