Problem with .xxx named files with Mac OS X (2 posts)

    Hi again i'm downloading some movies from somebody ftp but they are named .06.avi. How can i manage to make them appear on my computer? I'm donloading them but i can't either find nor reach them. Thx for your help

    To find out where Fetch is downloading them you can choose "Preferences..." from the Customize menu, click on the Download tab and see the current Download Folder setting. You can change that setting if there's a different place you'd like downloads to go.

    As for finding files that you've already downloaded, you can use the Find command in the Finder if you know their names.
