Have been using Fetch for a couple of months now with absolutely no problem. Yesterday, as I attempted to upload photos in the same manner I've always done, a few photos would upload and then I'd receive a message that said "R not recognized". Here is what the transcript window showed:

    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,144
    200 PORT command successful
    STOR 104.jpg
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for 104.jpg
    226 Transfer complete
    Transfer of 104.jpg (64,069 bytes, 64,069 bytes/sec, 0:01 elapsed) completed at 10/14/07 12:17:35 AM
    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,145
    200 PORT command successful
    STOR 11.jpg
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for 11.jpg
    226 Transfer complete
    Transfer of 11.jpg (61,888 bytes, 61,888 bytes/sec, 0:01 elapsed) completed at 10/14/07 12:17:37 AM
    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,146
    200 PORT command successful
    STOR 12.jpg
    500 R not understood
    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,147
    500 G not understood
    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,148
    200 PORT command successful
    STOR 12.jpg
    500 T not understood
    PASV
425 Unable to build data connection: Connection refused
    PORT 192,168,1,3,194,149
    500 G not understood

What do I need to do?
    Thanks!

    Hi Kay,

I see you have contacted our email support about this issue as well.

In addition to what they have suggested, one thing you might want to try is:

    * Go to the Fetch menu, and choose Preferences.
    * Click the General tab.
    * Uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox.
    * Close the Preferences window.

    Then try uploading again.

Do you connect to the Internet using wireless, or using a router to share the connection between multiple computers?

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

Thanks! I'll try that. The server I upload to is currently unavailable so I'll have to wait until it's back up. I connect wirelessly at my home or office. It's how I have always connected with no problems previously.
