I can't seem to find a way to promote a folder to one higher step. Is it possible? Also, can I show the time of the folder/files? Mac OS10.4 Fetch 4

    Hi,

Yes, it is possible to do both of those things

In Fetch 4, there is a little folder icon just above the file list on the left. (Above where the column heading for "Name" is.) If you drag files or folders to that icon, they will be moved to the parent folder. I believe that is what you mean by promoting the folder, let me know if it is not.

To show the modification time for files and folders, you must resize the Date column in the file list, making it wider. To resize a column in the file list, click the vertical line between the titles of two columns and drag.

However, you will need to make another column narrower in order to provide space to expand the Date column; so first, make another column (such as the Name column) narrower, and then make the Date column wider. (The times will spring into view as soon as the column is wide enough to show them.) If you feel you do not have enough space to make all columns as wide as you like, make the entire window wider and then resize the columns.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Thanks,
