Once you've generated the keys on your Mac you need to copy the public key to the end of the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file on the server. Fetch does not provide any user interface for doing this, at least not currently. Let me know if you need more specific instructions.
Thanks,

My friend has already copied my public key to the authorized_keys file.
How do I use the private key with Fetch to SFTP to his server?

Enter a dummy password in the Password field, and then connect as usual.
Thanks,

A friend wants me to use public/private key authentication to access his server. I made the keys but I don't know how to use it with Fetch (version 5.0.2)
