    HI there,

Continuing to receive "create directory operation failed".
    So far, I have:

    -downloaded current version of Fetch
-renamed my htdocs folder to all uppercase letters, no spaces, numbers, etc.
    -closed, then reopened Fetch app

    Any help, suggestions?

    Much appreciated!

    Hi,

I would try entering the htdocs folder before trying to upload SPRINGUPDATE.

    Thanks,

Not sure what you mean by "entering"? I entered it as in selecting "path" options...

    Hi Summer,

I'm guessing that when you first connect the Fetch file list consists of:

    cgi-bin
    htdocs

and that each one has a little folder icon next to the name. To enter htdocs, double-click its name (or click its name once to select it, and choose "Open Folder" from the Go menu).

Then click the Put button to upload SPRINGUPDATE.

    Does that help?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

Am receiving the same message “Create directory operation failed.” I opened the htdocs first and this didn't solve the problem.

    Thank you.

    Hi Ron,

After you get that message could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents? That may help me understand what is going on.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ron,

That transcript doesn't show a “Create directory operation failed.” error. Are you still getting that error?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

The next time you see it could you post the entire contents of the Fetch Transcript window (use the Select All command in the Edit menu)? Hopefully that will capture the part that shows the error.

    Thanks,
