    Hi-

I made a change to a Dreamweaver page and loaded it to my server via Fetch and now the page displays all white, no error message. The page in the Fetch file directory shows as size 0k. Also, when I try to "view page source" the code displays as "1" and nothing else. As a test, I reloaded an existing page that was fully functional, without making any changes to it and not opening it in Dreamweaver first and now that page is having the same problems. I test loaded a JPG to the site and that shows as blank page with an error message, "...cannot be displayed because it contains errors." The first time I loaded it, the size was 94k. On reloading the JPG it now shows in the file list as 0k.

Why is this happening and how do I correct it? Thanks!

    Hi,

Did you get an error from Fetch when you uploaded the updated HTML file?

No error message appeared on transfer. The file looked like it had transferred. However, the transcript mentioned an error. I did it again just now to capture the transcript: the Fetch file list reads "transfer 4,713 bytes", but the transcript reads as follows:

    "226-Options: -a -l
    226 485 matches total
    TYPE I
200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (108,60,15,78,191,236)
    STOR ballroom.html
    150 Accepted data connection

    226-Error during write to file
    226 Transfer aborted

Upload complete at 10/25/15 12:35:56 PM
    PWD"

257 "/public_html" is your current location
    "
The page still displays as white.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

It looks like there's a problem on the server. I would contact your web hosting company, and show them that piece of the transcript where the server is reporting "Error during write to file". [It would be good if Fetch reported that error, but the server incorrectly sends a 226 status code, which indicates that the transfer was successful, so Fetch doesn't realize there was an error.]

    Thanks,
