Is there any way to request the User ID when a shortcut file is opened?

Reason: with a campus CD, we'd like to distribute a shortcut file for connecting via Kerberos V5 (GSS) authentication to a well-known campus host, which runs a Kerberized FTP server on a non-standard port.

Our conception is that, in this shortcut file, all of the relevant connection-related fields would be stored, except for the User ID, which would be requested each time that the shortcut file is opened.

Right now, it appears that Fetch 4.0 treats an empty "User ID" field in the "New Connection" dialog as the user "anonymous". Is there some token - akin to entering "***CHALLENGE***" in the password field - which will display a request for the User ID when the shortcut is opened?

There isn't a way to do that currently, but it's a great suggestion. Thanks!
