    I created a shortcut for a client's ftp site, with a password - it shows as dots for protection. It has been several years, client can't remember password, and needs it - is there anyway to retrieve it?

    Fetch does not reveal shortcut passwords, in order to safeguard them. I would recommend contacting the administrator of the server to have the password reset.
