I'm having an odd problem - on a freshly formatted and installed OSX (10.3.9, all the software updates - G4 AGP, 400 Mhz, ATI Rage 128 Pro, 512 MB Ram), Fetch is locking up when scrolling window contents (I can force quit and try again, but relaunch and scrolling for more than 1-2 seconds does the lockup again). This is reproducable on this machine, and not really on others here in the office.

I would blame the graphics driver or card, but the system seems otherwise completely normal, before and after the fetch lockups.

Trashing the fetch cache, prefs, shortcuts from the [drive]/library/preferences isn't helping. Disk permissions, TechTool, nothing helpful there either.

Is this new behavior - seems to have come from updating this machine to 10.3.9... or something more bizarre that I get to wrestle with? ;-)

Does it matter what folder you are in when you scroll? For instance, if you connect to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com (leave the User ID and Password fields blank) and enter the "lotsoffiles" folder inside the "example" folder, does scrolling there cause the lock-up?

Also, does scrolling other lists cause the problem? For example, if you choose "Suffix Mapping..." from the Customize menu does scrolling that list cause the problem?

    Thanks,
