I just downloaded Fetch and am hoping to use it regularly. But twice now when I have attempted to revise the shortcuts list using the Customize menu, my whole system has crashed. All my apps shut down and then I freeze. I'm running OS 8.6 with 160 MB built-in memory and 161 MB virtual memory. Is my system just too old to handle the newer version? Should I download the older version instead?

Your system is plenty new enough for Fetch 4.0.3. It could be that your Fetch Shortcuts file is corrupted; I'd try removing it from the Preferences folder in your System Folder, and then running Fetch. If that works, and you have shortcuts you want to recover from the file, send the file to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com and I'll see if I can recover them.

    Thanks,
