Hi Elizabeth,
Fetch is not involved in deciding whether your password is correct or not; Fetch sends what you type as your password to the server, and either the server says the password is okay, and allows Fetch to connect; or the server rejects the password and sends back an error message, which Fetch then reports to you.
So either you are entering something slightly different than your colleagues, or something odd is going on with the server you are trying to connect to.
Passwords (and sometimes usernames) are case-sensitive; you might want to check and see if the password contains a mix of upper and lower case characters, and if so, be sure that you are using matching capitalization when you type the password.
Another thing to check is to make sure you are using the same connection type as your colleagues - find out if they are using FTP or SFTP, and make sure you have chosen the same thing from the "Connect using" menu in Fetch.
I'm not sure if there's more we can do, but please let us know if you continue to have problems.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I am using the same Password, Username and Hostname as two other people to look at files,
they are getting and I can't. My computer is a Power Book G4, Version 10.4.
Can you help?
Thank you .
