Setting up Fetch with Wingate (2 posts)

    I have Fetch 4.01 running under Mac OS9.2. I am trying to connect to an ftp server through Wingate running under Windows 98. I can't figure out what proxy settings I need. I have tried several and always get something like
    Using SOCKS v4 gateway host: 192.168.0.1, port: 1080
    Connecting to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com port 21 (2/1/02 5:44:45 PM)
    (The same happens with USER with no logon).

    I am able to use a browser and do email so I know the proxy works in other cases.

    I figured it out. I had the wrong port setting. Sorry to have bothered everyone.
