  Fetch 5.1, Mac OS X 10.4.6.

  I tried today to open an SFTP connection through a SOCKS 5 proxy here at work. It didn't work. tcpdump indicated that Fetch was trying to talk to the host directly instead of via SOCKS. Am I correct in presuming that 5.1 doesn't support a proxy for SFTP, or am I missing some configuration option?

  You're correct; there's currently no convenient way to do SFTP through a SOCKS proxy server. It's something we'd like to support in a future version.
