Shortcuts gone! (3 posts)

    My shortcuts have vanished. I am run 10.4.11 and Fetch version 4.03. The shortcuts were literally there one minute and gone the next. Nothing was updated; no changes were made. The computer was not even shut down between the time the shortcuts were available, and the time just the defaults were there. This a huge and time sensitive problem. Please advise ASAP. This happened once before and a tech was able to restore everything for me.

    Hi,

    First, please try the following:

    * Open Fetch.
    * Click Cancel in the New Connection dialog.
    * Go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Shortcuts.

    Do you see your shortcuts again, or is the window empty (or at least doesn't contain your shortcuts)?

    If you still do not see your shortcuts, please do the following:

    * Choose "Home" from the Go menu in the Finder.
    * Open the Library folder.
    * Open the Preferences folder.
    * Find the Fetch Shortcuts file.
    * Click once on the Fetch Shortcuts file to select it.
    * Go to the File menu, and choose "Create Archive of Fetch Shortcuts"
    * This will create a zip archive of your Fetch Shortcuts file.

    Please email the the zip archive to:

    along with the description of the problem that you posted, and we will see if we can help you.

    Thanks,
