Make sure you fill out the fields in the New Connection window before you choose "Create Default Shortcut..." from the pop-up Shortcuts menu. That command saves what you've entered as your new default shortcut.
Let me know if this doesn't fix the problem,

When I open a default shortcut the box's are all empty? For some reason the software is not storing and holding the info. The tilte of the connection is on the list, but that's all.
